About his two kids and Amrita.
"All I want to do is clear the rumours regarding me," says Saif Ali Khan, whose split with wife Amrita Singh has created a stir in Bollywood. "It''s true that Amrita and I aren''t staying together. But there is no bitterness or anguish over this. There have been differences which we decided was best sorted out by parting ways amicably. But wherever I am and whoever I am with, my priority will be my work, my kids and Amrita. I will never let any harm come to them," maintains Saif.

The actor refuses to discuss the reports surrounding the new woman in his life. "Amrita has maintained her silence and I am speaking only to dispell the rumours surrounding how I have left Amrita in a financial lurch. That''s not true at all. I would never let Amrita suffer. And there is nothing more precious in my life than my kids. In fact, I took care of her financial security even before I went overseas for the stage shows. I don''t want her to be inconvenienced in any manner. I want her to be able to live her life the way she has lived so far -- whether it means finding her a good house or making sure she has no financial problems. As for my parents, they are just as concerned about her as they are about me."

But it is his two children Saif is concerned about the most. "I think they knew this was going to happen," he says, "Even as we speak, the kids are in my house, playing, and they will go back to Amrita. They can come and go as and when they like, so can Amrita. Mine will be an open house for all of them. If the need arises later, I might explain what happened to Sarah. I just want to give this whole thing as much dignity as possible."
